The Problem: As climbing increases in popularity, our crags have become strained. It is not uncommon to see broken bolts, trash, and unmaintained trails in popular climbing areas. Ozark Climbing Coalition is a functional NFP whose mission is to promote conservation of climbing areas, safe climbing practices, and a justice oriented community in Arkansas. 

 

Method: For this project, I created a branding guide and sample ads for OCC. This brand was inspired by retro campers and the beauty of the Ozark region of Northern Arkansas. The concept of the Ads was to juxtapose Arkansas landmarks with famous climbing routes and areas to show that they are both important parts of the areas history and should be preserved.
